Sentimental Journey Symphony Ball

The Symphony League invites all aboard for a “Sentimental Journey” at the Symphony Ball, an elegant event inspired by the rhythm and romance of the 1940s, to be held at Kansas City’s landmark Union Station. This memorable black-tie evening will begin with a cocktail reception and a silent auction, then a lively Kansas City Symphony concert conducted by Music Director Matthias Pintscher. Then, guests will enjoy a multi-course, candlelit dinner followed by dancing to the swinging stylings of The Kansas City Jazz Orchestra.

The evening's order of events:

5:30 p.m. - Cocktail reception and silent auction will begin.

7 p.m. - The Kansas City Symphony will perform, conducted by Music Director Matthias Pintscher.

8 p.m. - Formal dinner will be served, followed by dancing to the swinging stylings of the Kansas City Jazz Orchestra.

Proceeds from this event will ensure the Symphony continues to inspire future generations with concerts in Helzberg Hall, ballet and opera performances in the Muriel Kauffman Theatre, and community-wide outreach and education. Please consider attending and bringing another guest to join you, gathering a table of ten, or arriving on your own and meeting other community-oriented music lovers! Every contribution builds the crescendo toward a more harmonious future.
